Dorothy E. Wilson, 70, of Belton, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 6-8pm. Services will be the following day, Friday, April 10, at 10am. Both will be held at Dossman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery in Belton.

Dorothy was born on February 8, 1956, to Marshall Napoleon Montgomery and Hazel Margrete Montgomery, in Taylor, TX.

Mrs. Wilson loved to sew and spend time with her family. Especially her grandchildren. She had her two fur babies, Roxy and Diamond, who she loved to spoil. She also wanted to go fishing anytime she could. If someone went without her, they would hear about it! Jesus was number one in her life. When she could, she attended Amity Brush Arbor Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Karron “D.K.” Wilson; two brothers, Charlie Montgomery and JR Montgomery; one sister, Martha Miller; and one great grandchild, Serenity Taylor.

She is survived by two sons, Marshall Wilson and wife Michelle, Walter Watkins and wife Margaret; one daughter, Dellaina Coakwell and husband Michael; two brothers, Raymond Montgomery and Howard Montgomery; five sisters, Sallie Dean, Dessie VanHouten, Bessie Maynard, Betty Harper, and Kathy Swiger; eleven grandchildren, Austin Wilson, Dillon Wilson, Vince Wilson, Dustin Taylor, Marcy Coakwell, Doree’Coakwell, Katarina Coakwell, Curtis Watkins, Matthew Watkins, Darrin Watkins, Sierra Watkins; and 13 great grandchildren, Hazel Wilson, Maybriegh Wilson, Austin Wilson, Jr., Lillie Wilson, Tate Wilson, Asheron Taylor, Rowdie Blaise, Carter Watkins, Elias Watkins, Elizabeth Watkins, JR Taylor, and Jagger Watkins one of the two on the way.
