Dwayne Thorn

Dwayne Eric Stephens Thorn of Temple, Texas passed away at home on June 26th, 2025, at 51 years of age.

Funeral Service will be at 10am on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home.

Dwayne was born March 21st, 1974, in Houston, Texas to Buddy and Lois Dossey Thorn.

Dwayne was an Army Veteran and a surveyor for 30 years. As a surveyor he was the Project Manager for EBCO Construction, LLC. He married Melissa Bridges in Belton, Texas in April of 1999. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycle and boating with his children, grandkids and friends.

Dwayne is survived by his wife Melissa, sons; Stephen & wife Tabita Anderson Jr, Jonathon & wife Hailey Clemons, daughters; Marissa & husband J.R. Herzog, Emily Thorn, brothers Buddy Thorn, Scooter Hill, John Hill, sisters; Christina & husband Tim Kimble, Teresa Hill, and Grandchildren; Riley, Jayce, Adrien, Kennedy, Bryson and 2 on the way.

Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents.
