Norma Jean Hill

Norma Jean Hill, 96, of Belton, died Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in a Temple hospital.

Memorial service will be from 10:30-11:30 AM on Saturday September 27th, 2025, at the Northside Church of Christ. 3401 N 3rd St, Temple, TX 76501. Lunch will follow the service.

Mrs. Hill was born February 7, 1929, in Flat River, Missouri, the daughter of William Riley Pope and Bessie (Pulliam) Pope. She married James W. Hill Sr. She was a long-time member of the Heidenheimer Church of Christ. She also worked for Bell County in Vada Sutton's office for several years. Later she worked for MHMR for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987.

Survivors include one son, James W. Hill Jr and his wife Sheryl L. Hill.
