<p><a href="/fh_live/15700/15773/media/cynthiaovalcolor.JPG" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img class="img-responsive" style="float: left; margin: 0px 10px 0px 0px;" title="Cynthia M.Gibson" src="/fh_live/15700/15773/media/cynthiaovalcolor.JPG" alt="Cynthia M.Gibson" /></a>Cynthia Gibson was&nbsp;born in&nbsp;Pasadena,&nbsp;Texas&nbsp;and graduated from&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;Rayburn&nbsp;High School&nbsp;in 1982.&nbsp; She&nbsp;attended&nbsp;San Jacinto&nbsp;Junior Collegeand the&nbsp;University&nbsp;of&nbsp;Houston. A graduate of Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science in Houston, Cynthia has been&nbsp;a&nbsp;licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1990. Cynthia married Bill Gibson 1991 and they have one son Tyler Gibson who graduated from the University of Texas of the&nbsp;Permian&nbsp;Basin where he played soccer. She is a member of The First United Methodist Church in Belton. &nbsp;She enjoys watching&nbsp;Tyler&nbsp;play soccer, traveling to&nbsp;Walt Disney World&nbsp;and running&nbsp; half marathons.&nbsp; Cynthia enjoys a warm relationship with the families she serves and is dedicated to serving those&nbsp;families with the utmost in&nbsp;professionalism and care.</p>

Following graduation from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Sciences, he took an entry-level Funeral Home position and, through hard work, commitment and attention to detail, has worked his way up to Funeral Home Ownership.<img src="http://dossmanfh.com/dannyduo.jpg" alt="" width="0" height="0" align="bottom" /></p> <p align="justify">For many years, Mr. Dossman harbored the Dream of building Dossman Funeral Home. When the time came for that Dream to become Reality, he knew exactly what he wanted to build and exactly how he planned to serve Families.</p> <p align="justify">"Our main goal all along has been and will continue to be serving the needs of People and Families the very best way we know how," he says. "That is our Promise, and that is our Commitment."</p> <p align="justify">Mr. Dossman is very active in the Community. He is Past Chairman of the Board of the Belton Area Chamber of Commerce for the Year 2001, also served as Chairman of the nationally- renowned Belton Fourth of July Celebration. He was selected "Citizen of the Year" in 1997. He is an active member and Past President of the Belton Lions Club and was Lion Of The Year in 2007. He is a former City Councilman and Mayor Pro-Tem in Morgan's Point Resort. He and his wife, Kathi, and children, Emily and Nicholas, reside in Belton. The Family attends Christ Episcopal Church in Temple.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino;">Born and raised in Phoenix Arizona until he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1977.&nbsp; In 2004 Rick moved to east Texas to start his second career as a third generation Funeral Director following the footsteps of his grandfather and mother.&nbsp; Becoming fully licensed in 2009 after completing school at Amarillo College. &nbsp;</span><br><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino;">In 2015, Rick moved from east Texas to Bell County with his wife Tonja. </span><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino;">Rick has a son, Alexander, a daughter, Stephanie and 3 granddaughters. He is active in the American Legion and the Marine Corps League.<br></span><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino;">Since High School Rick has dedicated his life to service to others in one form or another.</span></p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Allen Lawton is a native of Bell County, being born in Belton. He graduated from Bartlett High School, Temple Junior College, and Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He is married to the former Nadine Hargrove, and they have two daughters and four grandchildren.Prior to his retirement in 2009, he was employed as a funeral director and embalmer with Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple for a total of 30 years. Allen enjoys reading, especially military history, in his spare time.</p>

<p>Brittany was born and raised in Belton, TX, where she graduated from Waskow High School in 2007. In 2012 she married her husband, Andrew. She started mortuary school at Northeast Texas Community College in 2022 and will be graduating in December of 2023. She started working here in June 2023. She loves serving the families of her community and helping them during some of the most difficult times of their lives.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino;">Helen Jimenez was born and raised in Belton and graduated from Belton High School.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was employed for forty-one years with Scott and White Hospital where she worked in the clinic.&nbsp;&nbsp;A member of Christ The King Catholic Church, Helen volunteers for many activities such as the Eucharistic Ministry at many of the local nursing homes.&nbsp;&nbsp;She is also a member of the Scott and White Auxiliary where she volunteers much of her time.&nbsp;&nbsp;Helpful and with a friendly smile Helen assist families with visitations and services.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino;">A native of Ellis County, Joe grew up in Killeen.&nbsp; He graduated from Abilene Christian University with a music degree and did graduate studies in music at the University of Texas with a view to becoming a band director before entering the ministry.&nbsp; He served churches in Austin, Bloomington, Abilene, and Washington, D. C. before beginning a 33-year pulpit ministry with the Belton Church of Christ.&nbsp; Immediately upon retiring in January of 2004, Joe joined the support staff of Dossman's and is available as Minister on Staff to help families in need.&nbsp; Joe and his wife Janelle celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in June of 2009.&nbsp; They have three children:&nbsp; Son Donnie and wife Sherry live in Abilene; daughter Jane Anne and husband Scott Cox live in Belton; and daughter Katherine and husband, Brent Gibson reside in Waco.&nbsp; There are six granddaughters.&nbsp; Joe enjoys community service and has been a long-time member of the Belton Lions Club, the Belton Area Chamber of Commerce, an avid supporter of Belton schools, and is immediate past president of the Friends of the Lena Armstrong Public Library.&nbsp; He concluded two terms (4 years) on the Belton City Council in May of 2009.&nbsp; He and Janelle enjoy interim ministry and have served churches in Granbury, Garland, Corpus Christi, Palestine, Brenham, Arlington, Henderson, and Brownwood.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino;">Wanda grew up in Temple area and graduated from Temple High School. She married in 1963 to husband, James Rhoads from Moody, Texas. They made there home in Temple. Wanda was very active in church ministry. Wanda worked thirty years as an independent contractor for Home Interior and Gifts and later worked for many years with the families and friends visitations at the funeral home. She was an absolutely beautiful soul and is dearly missed here at Dossman Funeral Home.</span></p>
